Cheek augmentation with hyaluronic acid involves adding volume at strategic points, usually in a deep layer close to the bone, using a high-density gel designed to provide support. How long does cheek augmentation with hyaluronic acid last?
Because a high-density product is used in a deep layer, it usually lasts quite a long time, although it varies with the product, your metabolism and your lifestyle. We’ll tell you when to come back for a check.
Does it hurt?
Local anaesthetic or products with built-in anaesthetic are used. Most people describe it as mild, manageable discomfort.
Will it be very noticeable? Will my face look swollen?
The aim is a natural result. We work with measured amounts at support points. There may be some swelling in the first few days, which soon goes down.
What is the recovery like?
You can return to your routine the same day. It is best to avoid pressing on the area, intense exercise, strong heat and sleeping face down for the first few days.
What is the difference between cheek augmentation and facial harmonisation?
Cheek augmentation focuses on this area. Facial harmonisation plans several areas at once, such as cheekbones, chin, jaw or lips, to balance the whole face.
