At Centro Ubud we approach physiotherapy through an individual assessment to understand what is causing your problem and choose the most suitable treatment in each case.
Our goal is not only to relieve pain, but to help you regain movement, function and confidence so you can get back to doing what you need to do.
Back pain, neck pain, sciatica, herniated discs, sports injuries, knee, shoulder, foot or ankle problems. Our team combines assessment, therapeutic exercise and advanced techniques such as ultrasound, invasive physiotherapy, percutaneous neuromodulation, shockwave therapy or INDIBA when indicated.
Does your lower back hurt? We assess what may be causing your pain and help you recover movement and get back to your daily life.
If the pain travels from your back or buttock down your leg, we assess what may be irritating the nerve and design the most suitable treatment for you.
Having a herniated disc does not mean you have to live with pain. We assess your symptoms and work with physiotherapy and exercise to help you get back to your activities.
Does it hurt when you raise your arm, sleep or train? We assess your shoulder to understand what may be happening and help you recover mobility and strength.
If it hurts when you walk, climb stairs, run or play sport, we examine your knee, carry out an ultrasound scan and several tests, and design a treatment adapted to your problem.
We assess why your hip hurts and work so you can walk, train and move more comfortably again.
If you have been diagnosed with bursitis or have pain in an area where a bursa may be involved, we assess what is happening and how we can help you.
If you have bunions, we assess how your foot moves and functions to help reduce discomfort and improve its function without initially resorting to surgery. And if you have already had surgery, we can also help – ask us with no obligation.
Does the sole of your foot or your heel hurt when you get up, walk or stand for a long time? We assess what is causing the pain and design your treatment.
If you feel pain or burning in the front of your foot when walking or standing, we look at what may be overloading that area and how we can help you.
We don’t just want it to stop hurting. We work on mobility, strength and stability so you recover your ankle and return safely to your activities (even if you have a badly healed sprain from years ago).
If you have pain or stiffness in your Achilles tendon when walking, running or playing sport, we assess its condition and design a progressive programme to restore its capacity.
When necessary, we use ultrasound to look at muscles, tendons and other structures and gain more information about the area we are treating.
We use advanced needle techniques when they can add value to your recovery, always after assessing your problem and explaining why we recommend them.
We use this technique to work on certain nerves and structures when we consider it can help you as part of your treatment.
We use shockwave therapy especially for certain tendon problems and other injuries that can benefit from this type of treatment.
We use INDIBA as a complement in certain treatments to support recovery and help you get back to your activities sooner.
